Well; I took this yesterday in a spree of my boredom, and at the time it was a "Hi, I'm an adorably lazieh fella who lays plopped on the floor and stares at his bone with an irresistible puppy-dog look, hoping by some off chance that it'll levitate into my mouth and save me the trouble of moving" picture

But as I was playing around with it in PSP8 the past hour or so, it hit me on a deeper note and became an "I wish I was young again" shot. I mean- the look on my boy's face just makes me wonder; if dogs are capable of thought- what is going through his mind now as the "golden years" catch up with him?

I dunno. I guess I just found it to be a very intelligent yet saddened look. But maybe I'm reading into it too much, and Shadow's just thinking... "When's dinner?"

[Update: As I was so caught up in ranting about Shadow's expression, I forgot to mention a few things about the picture itself. Blur and framing was done in PSP8, as well as "aging" of the colors- the original was much golden'er due to the lighting of my living room. I must say I adore how my dog's fur matches not only our leather couch seating pillow, but also the carpet and the wooden floor ]
